Borcec jam
For all of you who wasn't there, feel
bad about that.
Although you've probably seen the line up of
writers, breakers and hiphoppers so many times,
we're sure you haven't seen such a tiny, lovely
place for the jam.
We got everything we wanted - some fresh air,
some quality time with people you usually meet
on jams, some beer at really reasonable prices.
The whole area, walls, beachvolley, stall selling
beer on tap, MCs, music... everything was just
in place. Despite the fact the venue is quite
far from the city centre, it was a delight to
be there. We wish more people had come there.
Due to the excellent walls' preparation, the
writers made a really good showing. The paint
sponsor Montana does its best for the scene,
which is commendable (if only the paints would
be a bit cheaper...).
What we must notice is that every single writer
looked like German tourist on the Adriatic coast
- red and burned. The sun did its job... What
do you think of Nivea Sun sponsoring the next
jam...?
As we were focusing on the writers' part, we
missed the after party in a nearby club, but
we believe everybody had a great time there
as well.
As for the works written on jam, you be the
judge.
Just a brief observation at the end: we kind
of miss gatherings in nature like this one.
So this is to kindly ask all the organizers
and event managers to keep on trying to find
as natural venues as possible for events like
this.
